A – My beliefs

[1] I believe that real value can only be created if the interests of all parties are aligned, conflict and or manipulation just create the same crappy results of the decaying old world economy. If interests are aligned then an environment of trust must be created for different people (with different styles and skills) to communicate within and then pressure must be applied to push said people.

[2] I believe that the relationship between co-workers, partners and customers must be transparent – this is not easy to do in a world that is increasing regulated and where people are infallible but it must be the goal to be fulfilled in all circumstances.

[3] I believe that businesses should be run from the bottom up. Employees should be fully empowered, the purpose of management is to support, develop, report and keep out of the way of the execution piece.

[4] I believe that its all right to fuck up so long as intentions are good and also lessons are learnt (we are only human).

[5] I believe that the internet is utterly changing the way that we work and live and that most entities and individuals can’t cope with this change.

[6] I believe that being successful is a function of helping and protecting the interests of others in order that they may be willing to do the work that you can’t.

[7] I believe that the UK is fucked if we don’t establish a material market share in world class web applications / platforms in order to underpin our off-line jobs

[8] I believe it is more important to appease ones conscience than one sense of ambition.

[9]  I believe what we are remembered for by those that we respect or look up to is more important than possessions, money or status.

[10] I believe in karma – what goes around comes around.

[11] I believe that this list may look somewhat cheesy – oh well………….:-)
